The Lloydminster Public School Division is excited to announce an opening for a temporary full-time Welding teacher at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School.
We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and student-focused educator to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and help students build skills that will last a lifetime.
The successful candidate will guide students in Grades 10–12 through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Welding. With access to a well-equipped shop, you’ll have the chance to shape future tradespeople, inspire confidence, and connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities.
Lloydminster Comprehensive High School serves approximately 1300 students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 and provides a wide range of programming including Athletics, Practical and Applied Arts (Business, Technical and Trades, Career and Life), Fine Arts(Visual Arts, Band, Drama, Garage Band, Jazz Band), Modified Programming, Advanced Placement and core curriculum. The school competes in the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association and offers a comprehensive program for school athletes and coaches.
The Lloydminster Public School Division is a progressive school division with a focus on excellence for its students and staff. It serves approximately 4200 students in the growing city of Lloydminster.
Options exist for the successful candidate to participate in either the Saskatchewan or Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Pension Fund.
The successful candidates will be required to qualify for Saskatchewan teacher certification and produce a satisfactory current criminal records/vulnerable sector check as conditions of employment.
